Terms of use and advertising terms

What you agree to by using this site, and the commercial terms we hold advertisers and sponsors to.

Using this site

Semaglutide Canada publishes pricing research and provider reviews for GLP-1 medications in Canada. Reading the site is free. By using it you accept the terms on this page.

You may read, print and share our pages, and quote from them with a link back. You may not republish a page in full, scrape the site at volume, or present our pricing tables as your own work.

This is information, not medical advice

Nothing here is medical advice, a diagnosis, or a treatment recommendation, and reading it does not create a clinician relationship. Decisions about a GLP-1 medication belong to you and a licensed Canadian prescriber. Our medical disclaimer sets this out in full.

Who this site is for

This site is written for adults in Canada making decisions about their own prescription medication. It is not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us an email address, tell us and we will delete it.

Prices change, and we say where ours come from

Every price on this site carries a date and a basis, and our methodology page explains which figures are audited and which are modelled. Pharmacies and telehealth providers change their prices without telling us. Confirm a figure with the pharmacy or provider before you rely on it.

We correct errors rather than quietly editing them away. Anything we get wrong is logged on the corrections page.

Email and the newsletter

Reading this site never requires an email address. Every page, price table and review is free and ungated. There is exactly one place that asks for an address, and that is the provider match quiz, which is optional and which nothing else on the site depends on.

We want to be plain about what the quiz does, because it is easy to get this wrong. If you choose to use it, an email address is required to see your result, and giving it subscribes you to our email newsletter. It is not a single one-off message. If you would rather not join the newsletter, do not use the quiz: the same provider comparisons are published openly on our cost comparison page and in our provider reviews.

You can unsubscribe at any time. Every email carries a one-click unsubscribe link and it takes effect immediately. You can also email us and we will remove you. You never have to give a reason, and unsubscribing costs you no access to the site, because none of it was gated in the first place.

The newsletter covers Canadian GLP-1 pricing changes, new generics reaching pharmacies and provincial coverage decisions. We send it when there is something worth sending rather than on a fixed schedule. We do not sell, rent or share your address, and we do not pass it to the pharmacies, telehealth providers or manufacturers written about on this site. What we store, which service processes it, and how to have it deleted are set out on our privacy and email policy page.

Advertising and sponsorship terms

These terms apply to any advertiser, sponsor or affiliate partner with paid placement on Semaglutide Canada. They apply alongside any written insertion order, and where the two disagree, the insertion order governs for that campaign only.

Rates and rate changes

Rates are quoted in writing per campaign and are exclusive of applicable taxes. Invoices are issued in Canadian dollars and are payable within 30 days unless the insertion order says otherwise.

We may revise our advertising rates at any time. A revised rate takes effect at the start of the next billing period, and we will give at least fourteen days written notice before it applies. An advertiser who does not accept a revised rate may end the placement under the notice provision below, and the old rate continues to apply until the placement ends.

Cancellation

Either party may end a placement by giving fourteen days written notice by email. Notice takes effect from the day it is received. Placement continues, and fees continue to accrue, until the notice period ends.

Fees already invoiced for the current billing period remain payable. We do not issue further invoices after the notice period ends. Where a campaign was paid in advance beyond the notice period, we refund the unused portion on a pro rata basis.

We may suspend or remove a placement immediately, without the notice period, where the advertiser is insolvent, is in material breach of these terms, has not paid an overdue invoice, or where continuing would put us in breach of Canadian advertising, privacy or health-product rules.

What paid placement does not buy

This part is not negotiable and we will not vary it in an insertion order.

Every paid placement is disclosed. Sponsored links carry a sponsorship label and the appropriate link attributes, and the disclosure in our footer names the arrangement.

Advertiser responsibilities

Advertisers are responsible for the accuracy and legality of what they supply, including any price, clinical claim or eligibility statement, and for holding the licences their business requires in the provinces they serve. Advertisers must tell us promptly when a supplied price or claim stops being accurate.

We may decline or withdraw any creative, claim or link at our discretion, including where we judge it misleading to a patient. Declining a creative is not a cancellation, and the advertiser may supply a replacement.

Indemnity

An advertiser indemnifies Semaglutide Canada against claims, losses and reasonable legal costs arising from material it supplied, from a price or clinical claim it asked us to publish, or from its own conduct toward a reader who reached it through this site. This survives the end of a placement.

Affiliate links

Some outbound links on this site are affiliate links, and we may earn a commission if you sign up through one. Clicking one takes you to that company, and what happens after that is governed by their terms, not ours. A commission never costs you more, and it does not change what we publish about that company.

Liability

We publish this site in good faith and check our figures, but we do not warrant that it is free of errors or that any price is current at the moment you read it. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss arising from reliance on the site, from a third-party site we link to, or from any interruption to the site.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Canadian law, including liability for fraud.

Drug names and trademarks

Ozempic, Wegovy, Rybelsus, Mounjaro, Zepbound, Saxenda and other brand names used on this site are the trademarks of their respective owners. We use them to identify the medicines we write about, which is fair use for reporting and comparison. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Novo Nordisk, Eli Lilly, Apotex, Dr. Reddy's, or any other manufacturer, and no manufacturer pays us or reviews what we publish.

General

If a court finds any part of these terms unenforceable, the rest continues to apply. Not enforcing a term on one occasion does not waive it. An advertiser may not assign a placement to another company without our written consent. For advertisers, these terms together with the signed insertion order are the whole agreement between us on that campaign.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply in it. The courts of British Columbia have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them, and both parties submit to those courts.

Changes to these terms

We may update this page. Where a change materially affects an advertiser, we give the same fourteen days written notice set out above. Last reviewed September 21, 2026.
